Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act 2019 (Commencement No. 1) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2021

These Regulations bring into force paragraphs 44 and 45 of Schedule 3 to the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act 2019 (c. 3) (“the 2019 Act”) in relation to Northern Ireland. These provisions relate to the retention of biometric data. These are the second commencement regulations under the 2019 Act, but the first which relate solely to Northern Ireland.
