Air Quality Standards (England) Regulations 2000

Set out objectives to reach a certain level of air quality within a given time period and work alongside Part 4 of the Environment Act 1995, which requires the Secretary of State to produce an action plan (known as the National Air Quality Strategy) and for local authorities to monitor the air quality in their area.
