End of Life Vehicle Regulations 2003

The End of Life Vehicles Regulations were put in place to give guidance on the deregistration of vehicles and also their scrapping and recycling when the vehicle has reached the end of its life. It offers guidance to manufacturers on their obligations to establish networks of facilities where vehicles will be scrapped or recycled free of charge for the owner and how the responsibility for recovery of vehicles falls.
